[College of Medical Science and Technology Announcement] Applications Open for the 2025 (Year 114) Outstanding Paper Award and Research Grant from the Liver Disease Prevention & Treatment Research Foundation — Deadline: June 30, 2025.

The 2025 Outstanding Paper Award and Research Grant, organized by the Liver Disease Prevention & Treatment Research Foundation, is now open for applications. We encourage you to recommend qualified candidates to apply.
Liver disease is considered Taiwan's "national disease" and a major threat to public health. Each year, over 10,000 people in Taiwan die from liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, or other liver-related illnesses. Statistics show that approximately three million people in Taiwan are carriers of hepatitis B or infected with hepatitis C, highlighting the severity of the public health threat.
To promote and reward research in hepatology, the Foundation has established the "Outstanding Paper Award" and the "Research Grant Program", which are offered annually to domestic scholars and doctoral students engaged in liver disease-related research.
The application deadline for the 2025 awards is June 30, 2025 (based on the postmark date). Application materials must be sent by registered mail to:
