【Scholarship】Taipei Medical University implement National Science and Technology Council Graduate Research Fellowship Pilot Program

The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) in Taiwan is offering a scholarship for PhD students who are expected to enter TMU in September 2024.

Taipei Medical University implement National Science and Technology Council Graduate Research Fellowship Pilot Program

 
Application Deadline: From now until 17:00 on July 31st, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

 
Scholarship Amount: NT$40,000 per month
Scholarship Duration: Three years.
From September 1st, of the current year to August 31st of the third year.
For those graduating within three years, the scholarship will be awarded until the month of graduation.

Application Eligibility: First-year Ph.D. students enrolled in the September of 2024  (including registrations in February of 2024).

The following individuals are not eligible to receive this fellowship:
1. Those who are engaged in full-time paid employment in public or private sectors or who apply for admission as part-time students possessing responsibilities related to employment.
2. Students with statuses from Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China.
3. Those who have applied for leave of absence and retained their admission eligibility or have not completed registration after admission.
4. Those who are concurrently in receipt of scholarship or subsidy offered by the ROC government.
NOTICE!
Should beneficiaries be qualified for both scholarships in accordance with TMU Graduate Student Scholarship Regulations , TMU International Graduate Student Scholarship Regulations and Qualifications and TMU Grants for Outstanding International Graduate Students , each beneficiary may only be awarded under one category in a given academic year.

Complete this application form and upload the following documents:
 

  • Research proposal
  • Academic credentials
  • Transcripts from undergraduate or higher
  • Other review materials (such as language proficiency certificates, recommendation letters, thesis, published journal papers, conference papers, books or technical reports, awards records,
  • relevant research outcomes, etc.)
